- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro

- 2 tablespoons pomegranate seeds
- 2 tablespoons crumbled feta cheese (optional)
- Fresh parsley or dill sprigs
- 1 small carrot, sliced into thin rounds or star shapes
To Serve
- Crackers, tortilla chips, or fresh vegetable sticks
Instructions
- Prepare Avocados: Halve the avocados, remove pits, and scoop the flesh into a large mixing bowl.
- Combine Ingredients: Add fresh lime juice, Greek yogurt or dairy-free alternative, minced garlic, sea salt, black pepper, and chopped fresh cilantro to the bowl with the avocado.
- Whip Mixture: Use a hand mixer or food processor to whip the mixture until it becomes smooth, light, and fluffy, ensuring a creamy texture perfect for spreading or dipping.
- Shape Dip: Transfer the whipped avocado mixture onto a large serving platter and shape it carefully into the form of a Christmas tree using a spatula or the back of a spoon.
- Decorate Tree: Adorn the tree with quartered cherry tomatoes, finely diced yellow and red bell peppers, diced purple onion, pomegranate seeds, and optional crumbled feta cheese to mimic colorful ornaments. Arrange fresh parsley or dill sprigs around as pine branches.
- Add Tree Topper: Place thin carrot rounds or star-shaped carrot slices on top as a festive tree topper.
- Serve: Serve immediately with crackers, tortilla chips, or fresh vegetable sticks for dipping. If not serving right away, refrigerate and consume within a few hours to maintain optimal color and flavor.
Notes
- Use ripe but firm avocados for the best texture and flavor.
- For a dairy-free version, substitute Greek yogurt with coconut yogurt or another plant-based yogurt alternative.
- If you don’t have a hand mixer or food processor, you can use a fork or potato masher, but the texture will be less fluffy.
- Decorate creatively with other vegetables or nuts to personalize your Christmas tree.
- Consume within a few hours of preparation to prevent browning of the avocado.
