Description

This Refreshing Peach Lemonade is a sweet and tangy summer beverage made with ripe peaches, freshly squeezed lemon juice, and just the right amount of sugar. Blended smooth and strained for a silky texture, it’s a perfect thirst quencher served over ice and garnished with fresh mint and peach slices.

Ingredients

Scale

Fruit and Liquid Ingredients

  • 4 ripe peaches, peeled, pitted, and sliced
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 5–6 lemons)
  • 5 cups cold water

Sweetener

  • ¾ cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)

Garnishes (Optional)

  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh mint leaves
  • Peach slices

Instructions

  1. Blend Peaches: Place the sliced peaches and 1 cup of water in a blender. Blend until completely smooth to create the peach puree base.
  2. Strain Puree: Pour the blended peach mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a large pitcher to remove any pulp and ensure a smooth lemonade texture.
  3. Add Lemon Juice and Sugar: Pour the freshly squeezed lemon juice into the pitcher and add the granulated sugar. Stir thoroughly until the sugar is fully dissolved.
  4. Combine Water: Add the remaining 4 cups of cold water to the pitcher and stir to mix everything evenly.
  5. Taste and Adjust: Sample the lemonade and adjust sweetness if desired by adding more sugar according to taste preferences.
  6. Chill: Refrigerate the lemonade for at least 1 hour to allow flavors to meld and serve chilled.
  7. Serve: Pour the lemonade over ice cubes and garnish with fresh mint leaves and peach slices if desired for an appealing presentation.

Notes

  • For a fizzy version, substitute 1 to 2 cups of cold water with sparkling water just before serving.
  • Frozen peaches can be used as a substitute for fresh peaches; thaw beforehand for best blending results.
