Description

These Frozen Mango Yogurt Pops are a refreshing and healthy treat perfect for hot days. Made with ripe mangoes, creamy Greek yogurt, and lightly sweetened with honey or maple syrup, they deliver a tropical flavor that’s both tangy and sweet. Easy to prepare and naturally gluten-free, these popsicles make a delicious snack or dessert for the whole family.

Ingredients

Scale

Frozen Mango Yogurt Pops Ingredients

  • 2 ripe mangoes, peeled and chopped
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt (full-fat recommended)
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Blend Mangoes: Place the chopped ripe mangoes into a blender and blend until completely smooth, ensuring there are no lumps.
  2. Add Remaining Ingredients: Add the plain Greek yogurt, honey or maple syrup, freshly squeezed lemon juice, and a pinch of salt to the mango puree. Blend again until all ingredients are fully combined into a smooth mixture.
  3. Fill Molds: Pour the mango yogurt mixture into popsicle molds, making sure to leave some space at the top to allow for expansion during freezing.
  4. Insert Sticks and Freeze: Insert popsicle sticks into each mold and place them in the freezer. Freeze the popsicles for at least 4 hours, or until completely solid.
  5. Unmold Popsicles: To remove the popsicles from the molds, briefly run warm water over the outside of the molds to loosen them. Gently pull out the popsicles and enjoy.

Notes

  • Use ripe mangoes for the sweetest and most flavorful pops.
  • Full-fat Greek yogurt gives the creamiest texture but low-fat can be used as an alternative.
  • Adjust sweetness with honey or maple syrup according to taste or dietary preference.
  • Make sure to leave space in molds for mixture expansion to prevent overflow or cracking.
  • These popsicles are best enjoyed within one week of freezing for optimal taste and texture.
  • For a vegan option, substitute Greek yogurt with coconut yogurt and use maple syrup as the sweetener.
