Ingredients
Scale
Crust
- 2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
Cream Cheese Spread
- 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried dill or Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Vegetables
- 1/2 cup shredded carrots
- 1/2 cup diced bell peppers (red, yellow, or green)
- 1/2 cup diced cucumbers (seeded)
- 1/4 cup sliced cherry tomatoes
- 1/4 cup chopped broccoli florets
- 2 tablespoons chopped red onion
Optional Toppings
- 1/4 cup black olives (sliced)
- 2 tablespoons capers
- 1/4 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or Parmesan)
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh herbs (parsley, basil, or cilantro)
- 1/4 teaspoon red chili flakes (for a spicy kick)
Instructions
- Prepare the crust: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking sheet or line it with parchment paper. Roll out the crescent dough and press the seams together to create a smooth, even layer on the baking sheet.
- Bake the crust: Bake the crust for 10–12 minutes, or until golden brown. Once baked, allow the crust to cool completely to prevent the cream cheese from melting when spread.
- Make the cream cheese spread: In a medium mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, garlic powder, dried dill or Italian seasoning, onion powder, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
- Blend the spread: Use a hand mixer or whisk to blend the ingredients until smooth and creamy. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed for the perfect flavor balance.
- Prepare the vegetables: Wash and dry all vegetables thoroughly. Dice, chop, or shred the vegetables into small, uniform pieces to ensure each bite has a burst of fresh flavors and vibrant colors.
- Spread the cream cheese layer: Evenly spread the cream cheese mixture over the cooled crescent roll crust, leaving a small border around the edges for a clean, finished look.
- Top with vegetables: Arrange the prepared vegetables on top of the cream cheese layer in a single, even layer. Mix and match the toppings as desired for color and taste.
- Chill before serving: For best results, place the assembled veggie pizza in the refrigerator for 20–30 minutes before slicing and serving. This allows the flavors to meld and the spread to set slightly.
Notes
- Ensure the crescent roll crust is completely cooled before adding the cream cheese spread to avoid melting.
- Feel free to customize the vegetable toppings based on seasonal availability or personal preference.
- Optional toppings like shredded cheese and fresh herbs add extra flavor and texture, but can be omitted for a lighter option.
- This pizza is best served chilled but can be brought to room temperature if preferred.
- For a spicy kick, sprinkle red chili flakes just before serving.
