Description

Cinnamon Toast Crunch Bars are a nostalgic and delightful twist on classic marshmallow cereal treats, combining the buttery richness of melted marshmallows with the iconic cinnamon-infused crunch of Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal. These no-bake bars make a perfect sweet snack or dessert for anytime enjoyment.

Ingredients

Scale

Base Ingredients

  • ½ cup Salted butter
  • 24 ounces Large marshmallows
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract

Cereal and Extras

  • 8 cups Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal
  • 5 ounces Mini marshmallows

Instructions

  1. Prepare the baking pan: Generously spray a 9×13-inch pan with baking spray to ensure easy removal of the bars after they cool. Set the pan aside while preparing the mixture.
  2. Melt butter and marshmallows: In a large pot over medium-low heat, melt ½ cup salted butter. Once the butter is completely melted, add 24 ounces of large marshmallows. Stir continuously for 2-3 minutes until the marshmallows fully melt into a smooth, gooey mixture.
  3. Add vanilla extract: Remove the pot from heat and stir in 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract to enhance the flavor of the mixture.
  4. Mix in cereal and mini marshmallows: Add 8 cups of Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal and 5 ounces of mini marshmallows to the pot. Gently stir to evenly coat the cereal and mini marshmallows with the melted marshmallow mixture, ensuring even distribution of texture and flavor.
  5. Press mixture into pan and set: Pour the coated cereal mixture into the prepared 9×13-inch pan. Use a spatula to gently press it down into an even layer without packing it too tightly to preserve the crunch. Let the bars cool at room temperature for about 1 hour until they are fully set and firm enough to cut into squares.

Notes

  • For easiest removal, line the pan with parchment paper before spraying with baking spray.
  • If you prefer firmer bars, allow them to set in the refrigerator for 30 minutes after the initial cooling time.
  • Use low heat when melting the marshmallows to prevent burning or sticking.
  • These bars are best enjoyed within 2-3 days when stored in an airtight container at room temperature.
