Ingredients
Scale
Lasagna Noodles
- 8 lasagna noodles
Chicken Alfredo Filling
- 2 cups Alfredo sauce, divided
- 1 lb. cooked shredded chicken
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 3 cups freshly grated Mozzarella cheese, divided
Garnish
- Chopped parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit and lightly spray a 9×13-inch baking dish with non-stick spray. This prepares the baking dish to prevent sticking and ensures even cooking.
- Cook Lasagna Noodles: Boil the lasagna noodles in a large pot of salted water following the package directions until al dente. Drain the noodles carefully and lay them flat onto parchment paper to cool and dry, preventing them from sticking together.
- Prepare Chicken Alfredo Mixture: In a medium bowl, combine half of the Alfredo sauce with the cooked shredded chicken, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and 1 cup of grated mozzarella cheese. Mix well so all the flavors meld nicely.
- Assemble Roll-Ups: Spread the chicken Alfredo mixture evenly over each of the 8 cooled lasagna noodles. Then, starting at one end, carefully roll each noodle tightly over the filling. Place each roll-up seam-side down into the prepared baking dish in a single layer.
- Add Sauce and Cheese: Pour the remaining half of the Alfredo sauce evenly over the top of each roll-up. Sprinkle the remaining 2 cups of mozzarella cheese evenly over the top to create a cheesy crust.
- Bake: Bake the dish uncovered in the oven for about 20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and lightly golden around the edges.
- Garnish and Serve: Remove from oven and sprinkle with chopped parsley if desired. Serve the chicken Alfredo roll-ups warm and enjoy this heavenly creamy Italian dish.
Notes
- Cooked shredded chicken can be substituted with rotisserie chicken for convenience.
- Use freshly grated mozzarella for the best melting texture and flavor.
- Feel free to add a sprinkle of red pepper flakes for some heat.
- Lasagna noodles should be cooled on parchment or a clean towel to avoid sticking.
- Leftovers can be refrigerated in an airtight container for up to 3 days and reheated in the oven.
