Ingredients
- 1 (8-oz) can refrigerated crescent rolls
- 4 pieces mozzarella string cheese
- 2 Tbsp melted butter
- 1 tsp garlic bread seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375ºF to prepare for baking the crescent rolls.
- Prepare Garlic Butter: In a small bowl, combine the melted butter with garlic bread seasoning and mix well. Set this mixture aside for later use.
- Prepare Dough and Cheese: Separate the crescent dough into 8 individual rolls. Cut each piece of mozzarella string cheese in half to create 8 smaller portions.
- Assemble Rolls: Brush half of the prepared garlic butter on the surface of each crescent roll. Place one half of the string cheese on the wider end of the dough, then roll it up tightly and place the rolled crescent on a baking sheet. Brush the tops of the assembled rolls with the remaining garlic butter.
- Bake: Bake the crescent rolls in the preheated oven for 15-18 minutes or until they turn golden brown and the cheese inside is melted and gooey.
Notes
- For extra flavor, sprinkle some grated Parmesan cheese on top before baking.
- You can substitute mozzarella string cheese with other types of cheese like cheddar or pepper jack for different flavors.
- Make sure rolls are sealed well to prevent cheese from leaking out during baking.
- Serve warm for the best taste and gooey texture.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container and reheat in the oven to maintain crispness.
