Ingredients
Scale
Filling
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1/3 cup buffalo wing sauce
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Wraps
- 4 large flour tortillas (10-inch)
Instructions
- Prepare the sauce mixture: In a medium bowl, mix together cream cheese, sour cream, and buffalo wing sauce until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
- Add the chicken and other ingredients: Stir in the shredded chicken, shredded cheddar cheese, and chopped green onions. Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste, ensuring the filling is well balanced and flavorful.
- Lay out the tortillas: Spread four large flour tortillas flat on a clean surface to prepare for filling.
- Fill the tortillas: Divide the chicken mixture evenly among the tortillas. Spread the filling over each tortilla, leaving about a 1-inch border around the edges to make rolling easier.
- Roll and chill: Tightly roll up each tortilla to enclose the filling. Wrap each roll tightly in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to firm up and allow the flavors to meld.
- Slice and serve: Remove the roll-ups from the fridge, unwrap, and slice each roll into 1-inch pieces. Serve them chilled or at room temperature as tasty finger foods or appetizers.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add more buffalo sauce or some cayenne pepper.
- You can substitute the flour tortillas with gluten-free tortillas if needed.
- These roll-ups can be prepared a day in advance and kept refrigerated.
- Serve with ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping if desired.
- Use rotisserie chicken to save time on shredding cooked chicken.
