Ingredients
Scale
For the Beef
- 1 lb ground beef
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- Salt & pepper, to taste
For the Big Mac Sauce
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp yellow mustard
- 2 tsp sweet pickle relish
- 1 tsp white vinegar
- ½ tsp paprika
- ¼ tsp garlic powder
- ¼ tsp onion powder
For the Wrap Assembly
- 4 large flour tortillas (burrito size)
- 1 cup shredded iceberg lettuce
- 1 cup shredded cheddar or American cheese
- ½ cup diced pickles
- ½ small onion, finely diced (optional)
Instructions
- Make the Big Mac sauce: In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, ketchup, yellow mustard, sweet pickle relish, white vinegar, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix well, adjust seasoning to taste, and refrigerate the sauce while preparing the rest of the ingredients.
- Cook the beef: Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef along with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Cook, breaking up the meat, until fully browned and cooked through. Drain any excess grease from the pan.
- Assemble the wraps: Warm the flour tortillas slightly in a microwave or on a skillet to make them pliable. Spread a spoonful of the Big Mac sauce in the center of each tortilla. Layer cooked ground beef, shredded cheese, shredded iceberg lettuce, diced pickles, and finely diced onion on top of the sauce.
- Wrap & toast (optional): Fold the sides of each tortilla in and roll tightly into a burrito-style wrap. For a crispy exterior and to help the wrap hold its shape, toast the wraps seam-side down in a dry skillet over medium heat for 1 to 2 minutes per side or until golden brown.
- Serve: Slice each wrap in half diagonally and serve immediately with extra Big Mac sauce or your favorite side like fries.
Notes
- The onion is optional; omit if you prefer a milder flavor.
- To make this recipe gluten-free, substitute the flour tortillas with gluten-free tortillas.
- The wraps can be preassembled and refrigerated for up to 24 hours; toast before serving for best texture.
- Use lean ground beef to reduce the fat content.
- Feel free to swap cheddar with American cheese for a more authentic Big Mac flavor.
